When love arises

Like imagination, love arises suddenly and fills our memories. Love does not abandon or pursue us; rather, we shape it through words, smiles, laments, and regrets.
In every corner of our imagination, we draw love like a song, a book, or a summer novel whose ending falls like rain, enchanting everyone regardless of their social or personal condition.
Loving is an escape, and imagining is living outside of reality. Both exist beyond us, in a place where their language and signals are expressed differently in every mind. It is a place where only those who create, or see what is not real, can understand them.
Love and imagination are like clowns playing tricks on our minds. They are amazing illusions meant to fill our lives, free from commitments, bargains, and anything to lose. They follow a mysterious, illuminated path that suddenly appears before us, and only those blinded by them can see it.
We do not look for love in our imagination. We do not seek in others what our imagination permits us to visualise. Love finds us in the forgotten corner of a book’s pages, in a confusing conversation, or in a free fall of sounds, words, and images.
It is just like love we seek in bars and parties, on dates filled with fleeting glances, where the desire runs wild. It always comes to us and finds, in our hearts, the same uncontrolled helm of reason.
Love meets us and surprises us. It is sometimes closer than we think, and continues to inhabit our imagination because its words are also imaginary, and people simply want to love.
Loving is an escape, fear, and curiosity. Love is an experiment. It has four letters that mask the depth and mystery of the sea. It is calm water hiding an unknown, wild, and tenacious world. It hides a fight for survival.
Love is a storm that finds us sleeping on a porch or forgotten on a sofa. It is in the songs we heard, behind our closed eyes or on the shoulders of others. Love is imagining what the other person should be for us.
It is simply a different whisper that we have heard.
