The last meaning of life

After living a whole life, each person has their own questions, perhaps we find at the very end a reason for living. We spend years experiencing events, whether comfortable or uncomfortable, happy or unhappy, looking for solutions to our problems or suffering through them. On the other hand, we also experience incredible moments that we cannot recreate, even though we learn strategies to bypass obstacles and keep going, searching for a purpose.
In fact, there is no reason or great understanding for living. There is only one life to be experienced with its specific situations and problems.
There are those who insist on living as if the following day will always exist, and those who live as if it will not. There are adventurers, inconsequential and irresponsible people, and those who are fearful or brave. We are a mixture of thoughts, attitudes, evil and kindness. We are a set of circumstances that human beings can produce for the benefit of others or against nature itself.
There are people who try to change the world until the very end. They try; however, they will not have the time to see the consequences of their actions. There are those who see the end of life as a revenge against time, unable to see the world clearly because they refuse to accept their own finitude.
There are many ways to survive: fighting, enduring and suffering. People can choose to be honest or dishonest, responsible or reckless. Some do not care about the consequences of their acts, yet they live their lives either accepting things as they are or trying to reshape them.
But living is not always just about survival, because we survive all the time, overcoming obstacles as much as possible.
The last meaning of life is the consciousness of our limits, knowing we lived what was possible to live and being able to look back at our past with a new perspective. This attitude is the ultimate act of survival. It is like travellers who never reached the end of the road, but reached the end of their road; they reached as far as they could. True survival exists when we look around to view the world from a different perspective, even when our eyes are tired of living.
This is a state of contemplation, of understanding the world in another way. It means interrupting our steps and thinking about everything around us. It is the end of an insane struggle for survival to understand that survival is not always fighting for a space in the world, but occupying a space in the world. It is staying there as if we are not there. Seeing and hearing more, and stopping not because we are tired, but because we are tired of hearing and doing what we do not want to do, rather than what we truly wish for.
It is like reaching a level beyond our ordinary sense of humanity. This pause is both important and inevitable. It is not about simply waiting for the end, but arriving at the end, and waiting, patiently, for the train towards a station lost in time.
Understanding the concept of survival goes beyond the material things we acquire. It is about feeling and seeing the wind of the journey rather than feeling anxious about the arrival.
Not everyone can truly experience the world and survive it: this is for the few, regardless of whether they possess power and money or not.
The last meaning of life may be understanding what it means to live. If the last moment of our lives were actually the beginning, would we have lived our lives the same way?
