Imaginary love

The imaginary love thrives better on imagination than when it only looks upon his or her love in the real world. And imaginary lovers figure out the desire for something or someone, and this object can be physical or not. It’s like planning an idea to get objects of desire. These objects are distant from imaginary lovers but their loves can be experienced within their imagination. Imaginary lovers create a private universe where everything is possible and they imagine a happy ending for them.
Imaginary lovers have a special view of love. And their loves belong to some people who look at their loves from a different perspective. It’s enough for these people to watch their loves pass in front of their doors and talk to them at school or at work but they don’t express their feelings clearly. They wait for their loves, patiently, and get in the bus at the same time and place to fill the void that exists inside them. Imaginary lovers imagine getting closer to their loves and talking to them in their silent world. And these supposed loves answer each question that they have.
These things happen in the real world when someone passes and we can feel his perfume and hear his voice, and we schedule an imaginary date in our mind.
How would be this imaginary love in the virtual world?
Suddenly, we see someone walking in the street and we decide to know his name and what he does. Then, we access social media to investigate him. We enjoy his smile, his habits, where he works, and what he likes. But we don’t know the sound of his voice and his life projects.
This love becomes voyeurism when someone peeks at another person and goes to the Internet to see him again, and types on a keyboard or moves the mouse. The cursor moves on the screen and caresses that face as if it would be possible to listen to his response. In this fake date, we can disguise our profile to get closer to him, and talk to him even from afar.
We can make contact with this virtual love through the speed of the Internet. We are behind the screen of a computer, and we can be what we want to be. On the other hand, in the real life, we are exactly what we are, without lies, and submitted to criticism and irony.
The virtual imaginary love is the world of shy people who avoid and fear love adventures. In this world, shy people gain life and become everything that they cannot be, and they become people that another one wants for him.
In the end, the people’s imagination invades the space of others and creates an atmosphere of curiosity to meet someone that, supposedly, will be everything that another person wants.
Plato lent his name and men became it on a fetish beyond the imagination.
There is a kind of Platonism that is similar to cowardice and lack of self-esteem. The virtual world creates a lot of adventurers hidden by chairs and computer screens. In the virtual world, we wake up everybody who is hidden. And they live in an enchanted world of fairy tales that spin in an imaginary world.
The imaginary love is forged in the real world by escaping, and in the virtual world, it becomes a false courage.
