The new and the old

        We often seek novelties. Who does not delight in everything new? A car, a house, a decoration, clothes – everything is special and fascinates us when they are brand new. We enjoy our first object of desire because it is fascinating, and we will always seek novelty because it brings us positive energy.
       On the other hand, the old and the decrepit remind us of old-fashioned things. Who likes musty and undesirable things? Those things have lost their perfume and enchantment, and it is no longer possible to extract anything else from them. The old is the past and represents what we no longer want. They are memories to be forgotten, while the future is the new world.
       It is not difficult to choose between them. In the end, what is unknown and represents the new may produce a big question mark because it is in the imagination that reality shapes itself. The new is the desire being shaped. The future is humanity evolving, so the new, truly, is charming.
      The new, sometimes, can be forgotten. The novelty is different because we tend to forget what was built over time by previous generations. In fact, nothing is new because everything is born from the trials and mistakes of the past that we have inherited: the old.
      The old is the learning collected from its own mistakes over time, and its existence is the consequence of these mistakes. So, the new would not have appeared if the old had not prepared the steps towards it.
      The new stems from events that previous generations have left us, and the old is the repercussion of new and different situations. In fact, the new is attempting to turn the old reality. If we try new experiences every day, it creates an attitude against the idea of “a struggle to live”. This struggle against the absurd opens doors to new things.
      The novelty is the oldest thing that we create, because we will always try solutions for our lives and for the societies where we live. Being the new is attempting to extract new things from old ideas.
      When the new attacks the old, it attacks the one that will generate it. The old is fatigued by the absurd, and by the effort to share the world with it. Nothing is newer than the old struggle for a new world.
      In the end, there is no difference between the old and the new times. There are struggles to renew them to transform the world we live in. We will always fight for a better life and world. Our struggles will be the same as old as time. And the new is the hope that the old creates for a better future.
