When I think of you

        What do you do while I think of you? Do you go to the mall to admire shop windows and imagine me wearing some of those clothes? Or will you wear some of them to date me?
       While I think of you, what will you imagine if you go into a café to order a drink that we would enjoy together? Maybe you put in it that unknown ingredient to surprise me with an unexpected flavour. And I’d get my lost look, and you will smile as I try to guess it?
        While I think of you, do you look at your wallet looking for the keys of your car, putting the bag on your knee, waiting for my hands to prevent your fall? And do you pretend that you cannot find them because you only want to have more time in a safe place beside me?
        While I think of you, are you at home listening to a song and learning a new recipe or looking for a new place in the newspaper to enjoy the night in a theatre, a cinema or on a show with an unknown artist singing?
       While I think of you, do you open a window and look at the crowd walking down the street among lit cars and stores, cars honk sounding, and people talking? Or are you in the silence of your house, alone or with your relatives, friends, a new date or neighbours? Are you in a boring meeting or have you an altercation with someone because his cat tries to catch the bird that you have on the balcony?
        While I think of you, are you lying on the sofa in your room, listening to the silence, frustrated, crying a lot on a friendly shoulder because I didn’t say what you wanted to listen to hear?
       While I think of you, do you imagine me doing something? Maybe, I’m going outdoors, taking my phone to call you, and you’re desolated looking at your mute and lifeless phone in your home.
        While I think of you, are you thinking of me? While I think of you, do you imagine that I exist?
