There is love on street corners

Life often surprises us. One of these surprises can be on street corners that someone turns into them without realizing. When someone is far from the real world and connected with their thoughts or travelling in the long roadway of the imagination, street corners surprise everyone with peculiar situations. When we turn into them and find another look or smile before us, it’s like two flowers blooming and meeting in a moment that they do not expect.
There is love on each street corner, no matter whether it is a love that someone waits for a long time or doesn’t wish to find. On each street corner may be a love that can be bought or sold. It may exist in an unknown body, open to multiple pleasures in our moments of sadness, when someone wants to forget someone else. It can be hidden in a glass of a drink or in a kiss that someone is not sure about. It can be a good conversation and can be experienced in a beautiful mansion or a small and smelly flat.
On the street corners, lovers meet and finally kiss and exchange hugs. There is love on each street corner, ready to happen. It exists when someone covers homeless people with a blanket to protect them against the cold weather. Or it exists in a hot soup for hungry people after a long day without hope; people who are wandering through the streets without a space to live, and find love there.
There is a street corner for every kind of love. It can be a meeting of people in love, or they are waiting for a revolution that is coming soon. It can be in the passion that carries on the crowd screaming for more love in the world, as if love, like love that exists on each street corner, could perform the exact moment to show its face. This love is received with stones or violence from the authorities.
There is a street corner within us where we hide our loves to protect them against surprises. And when we are confident, we take it from the darkness to exhibit it on the street under the sunlight, as a gift that we have gained.
How many street corners are there around the world, and how much love is there? Street corners scare and threaten us, and we look at them carefully to know if we can cross them. Some street corners end up in dark alleys, and others end up in illuminated and wide streets. Sometimes we can find a bad guy waiting for a robbery, or our loved ones are waiting for opportunities to meet us. Who can steal our hearts in trance on these street corners?
When love doesn’t find words to say, it is like poorly lit street corners. When love blooms on them, it becomes the moon watching us. Street corners bring us surprises of a walker wandering carefully. Street corners are not simply street corners. If someone walks carelessly and doesn’t see around, and ignores them, they can’t see love beside them.
