The easy side of life

In the 1970s, there was a genre of literature that aimed to teach people about the easy side of life. Books with titles like “Be a winner without effort” and similar phrases flooded bookshops. This kind of literature found success among people seeking ways to deceive their destinies and achieve success with minimal effort. What’s more, miraculous life projects and fraudulent schemes were propagated by opportunists to persuade people that they could access a comfortable life without effort.
Many of these “teachings” and “miracles” likely happened in previous years. I wonder if today’s “teachings” are not the children and grandchildren of those that existed before. Perhaps, they’ve left a legacy for their descendants. I believe these “teachings” existed before because there have always been people ready to listen to the siren’s song of the easy side of life.
On YouTube, influencers now promise their followers to reveal secrets known only to a privileged few, like the hidden strategies of bankers or their magical portfolios of stocks. It’s like waiting for a fish to jump on the banks of a river and catch it without difficulties, instead of using a fishing rod.
I’m not sure if humanity works like that. In fact, it is tempting to believe, find the easy side of life, and become a winner without effort. The incredible thing is not imagining this theory is possible, but revealing this path without expecting anything in return.
Some people seem to have an agreement with the universe, while others don’t. The universe often appears to be an obstacle to personal life projects. In reality, life and opportunity are a game of luck or misfortune. If you are at an event performing an interesting experiment, and someone is looking for the same, there is a match. Life is full of such coincidences, and sometimes one person becomes a winner without effort – it is a matter of opportunity.
There are many cases of both success and failure sequence of events – generations of losers and winners renewing themselves all the time. Some people are vaccinated against it, and they avoid this game.
The pyramids of Egypt will stand there to be appreciated, and the financial “pyramids” will continue existing to deceive people. In my opinion, this game will go on forever, and I must admit there is a genius behind it. Those who create these schemes are the true protagonists of the easy side of life. Of course, sometimes this way of life doesn’t turn into an easy life for them, and they need to escape from the mess they created. Fortunately for them, the world is big enough to try this scheme again elsewhere.
People will always seek the easy side of life, and on the other hand, there will always be people ready to teach others the “steps” to achieve it and listeners to be persuaded.
