Remembering girlfriends

His lifestyle was being a lover. But he enjoyed walking down the streets holding hands with his girlfriends. He remembered them as they walked beside him and how their hands touched him. But there was something beyond that.
While he was thinking of his memories, hands on the windowsill, he looked back and Mariana’s image emerged with her manner of a princess. Her sweet hands on his hands, beside him, walking softly through the streets. She had a smart walk, especially when she wore a pleated skirt and a light blouse, and simple and discreet makeup. Her short and black hair flowed with the wind, and he could see her elegant earrings. She had a safe way to show him a situation or a place that she judged to be interesting. He conducted that princess through the streets and felt like a real prince.
Julia was different. She was funny and spoke a lot. She wore blue jeans with holes showing her legs and he provoked her because of them. She abandoned her hands and embraced him softly, and put her face on his shoulders. She spoke about some topic involving a situation that she had experienced, or about news when she wanted to make any comments. She laughed a lot and left him to conduct her. He felt like a kid who went back in time.
Marcia had a curious look lost in the middle of propaganda and people who passed beside them. She spoke a little and kept her attention while she was speaking. Her mood demonstrated that she agreed with him at all times, and she smiled at him with her bright eyes. He could see her affection for him. When he walked with her, she was the centre of attention and he felt like the owner of the world.
Only our hands can say everything that we are. When they are swearing or feeling chills, there are troubles ahead. If someone is waiting for a date and finally is touched by another, or hands are waving from far away announcing his arrival. We can see this beloved face before.
But, there was the best remembrance. And there weren’t hands involved in it. It was the moment when Ludmila appeared in the crowd, and approached him carefully, trying to make a surprise. About that girl, her hands were not touching him, but her bright eyes illuminating around and her lips announcing the moment she had found what her heart was looking for.
