Many ways to sell cruelty
I have read articles and even some self-help books that attempt to explain why people commit cruelty, whether for love, at work, for pleasure or simply in the name of adventure. Then I wonder if those who encourage people to be cruel are capable of doing the same themselves. Maybe it comes down to the old people saying: “Do as I say, not as I do”.
In life, some people attempt to sell what they would never dare to buy or make. In other words, in both the real and virtual world, some people promote evil acts disguised as good advice. They do it simply for “likes” or applause, but take no responsibility for their actions.
No. I would never advise anyone to commit cruelty. In my opinion, those who attempt to do so may end up in prison. I wouldn’t wish that for anyone, so I don’t agree with this behaviour.
On the internet, there is space and opportunity to post almost anything. In short, you can post evil acts or absurd comments against science, purely to attract the attention of unstable people (and yes, they exist!). Don’t worry, these people are always ready to enjoy the work of “a good writer” who supports them and refreshes their strategies.
There are good writers who use their talents to promote cruelty; however, some of them may not actually believe in what they write. Cruelty hides in many places. It’s like someone speaking about kindness while having no real inclination towards benevolence. Or like a thief who steals from someone, and when the victim forgives them and wishes them happiness, the victim who was stolen holds their anger. Nowadays, it is not easy to remain neutral or be a good person.
In the virtual world, the struggle for space misconstrues facts. Users may suggest a miracle cure for illnesses, which can lead to practising false medicine. In a way, online gurus make health recommendations without certainty, so is this a type of fake medicine? It’s madness, yes, some people follow them.
How can these people encourage evil acts online when they don’t know who might read and act on these false ideas? It’s like the so-called “suicide games” that target vulnerable people, with no one held accountable.
People suffer cruelty when they try to solve personal problems with “experts” hidden on the internet. Many times, they are disguised as famous or celebrated figures. Is there a greater cruelty than offering neatly packaged, beautifully written with words as infallible solutions?
Those who speak in the name of God may not feel true faith. While those who declare themselves to be against corruption perhaps are not so honest. As some people often say, these people are wolves; they deceive reckless people who yearn for happiness and quick fixes to easy solutions for their life’s problems. They don’t see themselves as wolves. Wolves are charismatic and have a peculiar magnetism; they care little for your opinion, while refusing to listen to anyone else’s advice.
I would rather call them hyenas, hidden, smiling, and encouraging people to commit cruelty through their false laments and deceitful words. In this world, we can see crazy people advising one another.
