Ignorant and wise people

I don’t know if this title is relevant. I don’t want to write about the confrontation between ignorant and wise people because it is a well-known topic: it is merely cliché. No question, we have been witnessing ignorance creeping into our society. I’m not speaking about stupidity in general, I’m speaking about people who ignore facts and try to reinforce nonexistent or implausible realities. There are lazy minds who are afraid of those who can unsettle their peculiar worldviews. In this situation, we could identify those who read and seek information based on real facts through reliable channels.
Have you noted the first action of ignorant people is challenging scholars, universities and renowned and dedicated scientists? On the other hand, we also observe some scholars, with honorific certificates on their CV, supporting these implausible theses. What’s more, we can consider these honorific titles and qualifications are full of prejudices and ignorance as well. This group of scholars and their followers demonstrate false erudition and speak about things that they know nothing about. Some of them are conceited and envious or only lazy people, or clever individuals who use ignorant people to earn easy money.
We don’t note, but this situation often begins in school where wise and dedicated students have been ridiculed, bullied and faced prejudice – not by all students, but by a small group that disdains of knowledge.
Ignorance shows itself only, full of fear and insecurity since our youth. This group of ignorant people tries to demonstrate their supposed superiority using physical force or intimidation to silence opponents.
The peculiarity of wise people, on the other hand, is that they often remain silent in the face of intimidation or because they deduce that it is not worthwhile to continue a conversation without benefit. It’s like giving pearls to pigs.
Young people grow into adults, often keeping their personalities: Do people change? In the past, those who didn’t enjoy science in general intimidated others, and they were responsible for silencing them. In the future, these individuals tend to become dictators and disseminators of lies to sustain their own realities.
This phenomenon occurs all over the world. It is easier for ignorant people to transform the world into a fantasy island than to face reality and try to overcome their own flaws. Ignorant people admire and fear those who don’t try to adjust the world to fit their minds. Wise people absorb knowledge and strive to change their way of thinking, seeking to understand why realities constantly change. Ignorant people scream and try to interrupt the silence of others. This silence is more embarrassing than a public reprimand.
Wise people have only one way to demonstrate their aversion to the behaviours of others. In informal discussions and conversations, wise people laugh and use words like a chess game, playing with them before checkmate. Fighting against ignorance is a hard challenge because its followers are growing in number, and this population is intimidating. Ignorant people try to appear wise to intimidate real wise people, who ignore them because ignorant people are losers before the battle even begins.
