Against the evil

Could forgiveness and evil come together? If people want bad things to happen to others, can they be forgiven? If those people regret it, is it possible that this regret hides frustration because they couldn’t achieve their goal? We wonder, if they had achieved it, would they have been generous with their opponents, or become more harmful?
If evil is victorious and follows its nature, it won’t stop its escalation, because evil feeds on itself. It is like a journey to harm the lives of others. It is a type of power, an insensitivity to understand others’ suffering. Evil can mean revenge, but could it be a cure or redemption? Revenge does not last long, and its pleasure is little. Is revenge, cure, or redemption just an excuse to do bad things?
“We must do bad things at once and good things little by little”, said Machiavelli, who wrote “The Prince”. Evil is a force of all circumstances. But power is short-lived and doesn’t last long. It is not possible to keep strong feelings at the peak over time, not even evil.
Many societies call for justice, but ironically don’t punish those who break their laws. Instead, they punish those who disagree with the majority. Justice, in this case, becomes lynching when groups or individuals try to eliminate those who think differently. For them, opponents act to “destroy” their society and commit crimes. In fact, criminals deserve punishment, but what about those who claim justice and equality?
When evil is in charge, only another evil can communicate with it. Evil enslaves those who see it as the solution to all problems, whether political or social. Evil is diabolical because it ignores humanity, while humanism tries to understand differences. Evil doesn’t respect others. It feeds on itself and needs more and more doses of evil to survive. Nothing is enough to stop this storm of madness.
A contaminated society cannot see anything beyond itself. Even fair causes sometimes need to do bad things to survive. In this case, evil wins, whatever the situation.
Evil doesn’t study or read. It is focused on its own moralism and security policies, the reason for its existence. Evil is at the top of human misunderstanding. It is the worst type of relationship. It ignores its neighbours, and sometimes even those who fight at its side. The result is that individuals from the same group fight amongst themselves.
If we want to fight evil, we must not answer it on the same level. This exchange of arguments only increases misunderstanding between individuals or groups.
The best weapon against evil is ignoring it. For those who do bad things as a way of life, isolation is the best kind of evil we can offer. Evil needs opponents. When they don’t exist, evil gets lost.
Should we face evil with love? I believe the indifference is better.
